This cultivar has expanded greatly in the last few years due to its relatively large almond-shaped fruits and white bony skin. The most important reason that people buy this is because of its bony white skin.
Ahmad Aghaei cultivar has the highest percentage of smiling pistachios and more than 98% of fruits are smiling. Its leaves is small and about 60% of the leaves are of the three-leaf compound type. The apical leaflet in this type of cultivar is ovoid and larger than lateral leaflets. This cultivar has a medium growth and very strong apical dominance. The fruits in this type of cultivar are almond shaped. Pistachio density in this cultivar is moderate in clusters with about 18 pistachio seeds at the end of the season.
